Our definition of quality is presented in our Quality Statement:

High quality at a university of applied sciences can chiefly be seen in above-average results in teaching and research and how these results are perceived by relevant stakeholders. High quality is the result of strategy-geared and process-oriented action taken by motivated and competent staff. The adequate equipment with resources is a prerequisite for quality at a university of applied sciences.

We perceive the standards for our quality management within the context of the European Higher Education Area. They are thus based on the ‘European standards and guidelines for quality assurance in the European Higher Education Area (ESG)’, which provide standards and guidelines for internal and external quality assurance within European Higher Education.

Our strategy for continuous improvement postulates how we put our understanding and standards of quality into practice. Standards and strategy are summarized in the document ‘QM-Policy Strategy’.
